2021 LaGrange Homecoming Parade Details
It's homecoming time for high schools in the Greater Lake Charles area. This is a time for high school seniors to start making preparations to attend college. October is the Louisiana College Application and Access Month and many seniors made further education commitments by selecting future universities. All week long students at LaGrange Senior High School will celebrate their homecoming festivities.
Today the school reminds students how important it is to exercise their right to vote. If you are not registered, now is a perfect time to sign-up and ensure your voice is heard in future elections. LG High will hold a voter registration drive for persons 17-years of age or older in The Square from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm.
The 2021 LaGrange High School Homecoming Parade takes place today at 3 pm. Line-up begins at LGHS Stadium Parking lot around 12:30 pm. Get out and enjoy the excitement, grab your lawn chairs and a couple of bags for throws. Feel free to sport your Halloween costume early, as this years' parade theme is all about Marvel Superheros. The parade is as follows:
It will travel east on College St. down to the intersection of College St and Louisiana Ave., then turn right on to Louisiana Ave. Proceed south down Louisiana Ave. to the corner of Tulane St. and turn right. The parade will continue west on Tulane to the corner of Kirkman St, and then wrap up at Gator Stadium.
