Sean Ardoin & Kreole Rock and Soul were nominated for his latest project the "Live in New Orleans" album for the 2022 Grammy Awards. We all were pulling for him to win. The Lake Charles Zydeco artist is also nationally known by music fans, which is why he has been the 3rd time he has received a Grammy Award nomination. There is no doubt that his fans in SWLA and around the globe were all hoping that this nod would be a charm.

Unfortunately, he did not get an award this year. As his friend and fan myself, I was disappointed. I really thought he was going to get it. I know how much it would've meant to him and his family if he did. However, defeat doesn't last long. What God has for you, no one can take from you! Plus, if I know Sean, he's not going to stop until he finally gets that trophy! Besides, at the very least he was recognized on a global scale once again for his musical talent. If nothing else folks know a brotha's name and that sometimes is half the battle.

By the way, our hometown music star went to the Grammy's representing us well. Turns out he is a pro at the stuntin' on the Grammy's red carpet! Apparently, Sean and his crew made quite the impression on the folks in Las Vegas this year. The Huffington Post reported the Zydeco man and his Kreole Rock and Soul were some of the best-dressed stars of the night!
