Well like many other store that aren’t bouncing back from the “Covid Years” Party City is closing over 30 Stores after filling Bankruptcy this past January. He’s what we know so far:

Party City filed into bankruptcy in January and now intends to liquidate more than thirty locations across the US.

Documents filed in bankruptcy court in February stated that the party supply supplier intended to close 22 outlets in February.

The business declared in April that it would close nine more locations in Michigan, California, Indiana, New York, Ohio, and Oklahoma. The real estate advisor selling the businesses, A&G Real Estate Partners, revealed on Tuesday that four more locations had joined the list. These are located in Massachusetts, Texas, and California.

Before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on January 18, Party City had already closed and evacuated 28 stores across 13 states. According to Retail Dive, Party City is now requesting that the court release it from those leases. The link
