Enter The 2022 Mardi Gras Shoebox Float Contest

Enter the annual Mardi Gras Shoebox Float Contest presented by the Lake Charles Southwest Louisiana Convention and Visitors Bureau. Show off your craft skills, love for SWLA tradition, and Mardi Gras spirit. Create a shoebox marvel with the family and spend some quality time while competing for one years worth of bragging rights. The deadline to submit your shoebox float is Monday, January 31, 2022, at 11:59 pm. So hurry and get your contest entry form now and good luck!

PRIZES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
1st Place - Certificate, King Cake, $50 Dollars
2nd Place - Certificate, King Cake, $25 Dollars
3rd Place - Certificate & King Cake

Then your marvelous carnival creation will go on display with hundreds of others from all over Calcasieu Parish. The public will choose the winner via online voting, which begins, February 1, 2022, and ends at 12 noon on February 22, 2022. Never done this before or you have, but it's been a while? No worries.
