LOUISIANA, La. (KPEL News) - It's the Lenten Season and many of us have pledged to eat better. We have so many food options in South Louisiana, from plate lunches to po-boys. While they are delicious and filling, they don't do any favors for our waste lines! Healthier and faster options are usually a best seller this time of year, but make sure your quick meals are safe!
Nestlé USA has announced a voluntary recall of select Lean Cuisine® and STOUFFER’S® frozen meals due to the possible presence of wood-like material in certain products.

The recall applies to specific batch codes of the following products, which were produced between August 2024 and March 2025 and distributed nationwide from September 2024 to March 2025:

Why Are These Frozen Meals Being Recalled?
Nestlé initiated the recall after receiving customer complaints about wood-like material in certain meals. So far, there has been one reported potential choking incident linked to the affected products.

Consumers can check the side of the packaging for the ten-digit batch code located near the best-before date. If your product matches the recall list, DO NOT CONSUME IT!
