Officials said investigators found in their preliminary investigation that 41-year-old Milton Bell III was traveling down MP Cutoff Road when the crash happened.

Investigators are unclear as to what caused it to happen, but they know that Bell's motorcycle left the roadway and slammed into a culvert.

Investigators from Louisiana State Police Troop E investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash after Bell's 2015 Suzuki GSX 600 went off the roadway.

As is routine in fatalities, standard toxicology samples were taken, and they will be submitted to a lab for analysis.
