This work will be done "Weather Permitting" so any possible inclement weather could delay, extend or alter in other ways, the scheduled work day/hours.

Drivers are also being warned that this will be a total closure and all vehicles will need to detour to an alternate route, but appropriated detour signage will be in place.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.

Things Louisiana Drivers Hate Most About Other Drivers

In Louisiana the roads are already bad enough. We don't need other drivers adding to our "road rage" potential. Just don't do these things and you'll stay off our "list". It's the biggest pet peeves of drivers in the whole state.
