Southwest Louisiana and the residents of Lake Charles are getting ready for the Memorial Day holiday. Folks are planning to head out of town, stay around the house and cook it up, or just go out and do something fun!

IT will be a three-day weekend for most folks and a bunch of things will be closed in the lake area to observe the holiday. One of those things that will be closed will be the City Of Lake Charles offices.

On Monday, May 29, 2023. Lake Charles City Hall will be closed to observe Memorial Day so there will not be any trash or garbage picked up on Monday.
