Twanie’s Terrific Treats Announces Grand Opening in South Lake Charles

Lake Charles, Louisiana - Southwest Louisiana got some SWEET news on Wednesday Morning. A few months ago, Twanie's Terrific Treats announced they were moving to a new location in South Lake Charles, and now we know when they're going to be opening the doors of their brand new sweet spot.

Let's just start by saying... If you've never been to Twanie's, you're missing out! If you're going to stop in for the first time, here are a few pointers... Cheesecake should definitely be at the top of the list of items you have to get. They've got many popular flavors like Chantilly, strawberry lemon, and banana pudding. Their chocolate chip cookies are another go-to, along with cinnamon rolls, brokies, and Boshoff treats.

Twannie's Set To Open Nelson Road Location on Saturday, July 11th

Back in May, we reported that Twanie's was going to be moving from their original location here in Downtown Lake Charles and moving into a brand new spot in South Lake Charles. Twanie's purchased a prime spot next to Scarbrough's on Nelson, located at 3625 Nelson Road.

Well, now we've waited long enough, and Wednesday, Twanie's finally announced when they're going to be opening the doors of the brand new location... They will host a Grand Opening event THIS WEEKEND, on Saturday, July 11th.

It's been such a privilege, such an honor to serve each and every one of you at our downtown location. The last 4 years have been absolutely terrific, but I believe that God has bigger, better things for us here on Nelson Road. And with that being said, our grand opening will be Saturday, July 11th. You don't want to miss out. We're gonna give away new treats and new flavors. It's gonna be amazing. It's gonna be absolutely terrific. We can't wait to see you. We can't wait to serve you.
