SWLA Weekend Forecast Finally Brings Perfect Weather

KNGT | Lake Charles, LA —  Alright y’all… I gotta tell you… this might be the nicest weekend we’ve had in a while.

This week’s Cajun Weekend Weather Report is lookin real good if you’ve been waiting to finally spend some time outside without dodging rain every five minutes. According to The Weather Channel this weekend is shaping up pretty solid across Southwest Louisiana.

Friday
Friday looks real nice. High around 87, low near 68, partly cloudy, and barely any rain chances at all. This right here is “find a patio somewhere” weather. You can grill, fish, cut grass, wash the truck… whatever you been putting off because of all this rain lately… Friday is your day. Only problem? It’s getting hot again. So yeah… better go ahead and grab that extra bag of ice for the beer because it’s officially that sticky Louisiana weather again.

Saturday
Saturday… pretty much the same story. Warm temps, little breeze, partly cloudy skies, and still not much rain to worry about. This is prime cookout weather right here. You know the kind… music playing outside, somebody burning burgers a little too much, kids running around the yard, and somebody saying “man it’s hot out here” every ten minutes. Honestly… this might be the best day of the weekend.

Sunday
Sunday stays warm too. High around 86, low in the low 70s, and still only small rain chances. Now I ain’t saying you won’t see one random Louisiana shower pop up somewhere… because let’s be honest… it happens. But overall? This weekend looks wide open. This is one of those weekends where nobody can use the weather as an excuse to stay inside.
